The fall trout bite hasn't completely gotten going along the Grand Strand, but it's starting.  Check out this monster 25 1/2 inch trout caught withCaptain Smiley Fishing Charters (843-361-7445) while flounder fishing.  It was caught on a finger mullet fished on the bottom.  It's one of the biggest trout you will see caught in South Carolina, and goes to show that the best way to catch the biggest ones may not be with live shrimp under a popping cork!
