Sometimes the catch of the day isn't about a single fish, or even sheer numbers of fish, but instead how they are being caught.  While Captain Rodney Donald (864-356-0143) will be the first to tell you there are other ways to catch crappie on Lake Hartwell right now, he is bringing in limits of good crappie fishing like you might expect to in March - two feet under a cork with a jig around shallow brush.  The fish are hungry and aggressive, and with water temperatures where fish can be about anywhere ... why not?  Thanks for the share, Captain!
