Certainly bigger black drum swim in the ocean, but you won't find much more impressive fish in the creeks than these. Check out these massive inshore black drum, pushing 10 pounds, caught with Captain Caleb Hartley with Carolina Hook and Fly Guide Service (843-241-7706). Usually October is the peak fishing time in Murrells Inlet, but so far this year November has been the best month for a variety of species - not least black drum. These fish were caught around shell mounds on shrimp. Thanks for the share, Captain!
