The lagoon inside Palmetto Dunes Resort on Hilton Head Island is a special fishery, and Captain Trent Malphrus with Palmetto Lagoon Charters (843-301-4634) is the man to guide you there.  He splits his time between inshore guiding and the lagoon, but some of the most impressive catches come out of the lagoon - like this 20-25 pound black drum!  Sight-fishing they tried and tried to get it to eat an artificial, but eventually put a piece of cut shrimp on the line and hooked up.  Thank you for sharing, Captain!
