It's been a poorly kept secret for some time now that Lake Murray has some really big blue catfish, and Captain William Attaway with Slick Willie’s Guide Service (803-924-0857) reports that they are moving shallower as temperatures rise.  Check out this 48-pound fish caught on gizzard shad in 10 feet of water.  He was fishing a long point in the mid-lake just outside of a creek, and expects that this warmer weather will have some fish moving into the creeks very soon if not already.  Thanks for sharing, Captain.
