We're not going to pretend this is the first tarpon (that we've heard of) caught in South Carolina this year, but we did want to share this picture from Captain Addison Rupert of Lowcountry Outdoor Adventures (843-557-3476).  He is visiting Boca Grande, widely known as the tarpon capital of the world, and landed this beautiful fish.  His 4 1/2 year old son looks on in the picture below, no doubt impressed!  It won't be too long before they start showing up in South Carolina, but for now this will have to do.  Thanks for sharing and enjoy Florida, Captain!
