We have a couple of really exciting catches to share this week, and on Tuesday Captain Buddy Love of Captain Smiley Fishing Charters (843-361-7445) sent us this picture of a giant 25-inch trout they had caught that day.  No bonus points for correctly guessing that they caught it on live shrimp! 

Then yesterdayCaptain Tuck Scott with Building Anglers (843-271-5406) guided a client  to this beautiful 47-inch cobia on the fly in the Broad River.  There have been a lot of cobia around this year, likely for a variety of reasons, but this is the most impressive caught fly-fishing that we have seen... Thanks for sharing, captains.
