We don't usually feature a fish from the same area two weeks in a row, much less from the same captain, but today we're making an exception for this catch from Captain Patrick Kelly with Boogieman Fishing Charters (843-962-3503). South Carolinians are used to seeing big redfish, but the author is not used to seeing 38-inch redfish come out of a skinny creek in the middle of the summer! No doubt that Captain Pat gets on the water early in the summer is part of his secret, but it's still a very exciting catch... Especially at a time when the inshore waters around the state are filling up with 10-14 inch young-of-the-year reds. When you fish with mud minnows you never know what is going to come next in saltwater!
