A 30-plus pound catfish is always a good one, but there are plenty caught in the summer on many of our South Carolina lakes. However, if you have been following the Lake Hartwell catfish reports you know that in the summer they are rare on that lake because most of them basically become uncatchable in the deep timber. But cooler water temperatures and rain changed things up, and this big fish was caught on Captain Bill Plumley's boat. More information to follow in this week's Hartwell report.
