While most of our catches of the days are closer to home, we had to share this impressive smallmouth which Santee Cooper Captain Steve English (843-729-4044) caught on Lake Sinclair outside Detroit.  After watching all the fish to come out of the lake during a recent professional event, already up there on business Steve decided to go out with a guide.  Between the two of them they caught 20-25 fish in six hours.  The big fish Steve is holding to the viewer's left weighed 5.04 pounds!  They were swimming jigs in shallow, clear water, and Steve says I better believe he is going back.  Thanks for the share!
