It's not unusual to see boards of Spanish mackerel just above the legal limit, frequently caught trolling spoons. Or maybe even casting lures under diving birds. But it's not every day that we get to see someone catch a bunch of 2-5 pound fish. That's exactly what Captain Caleb Hartley with Carolina Hook and Fly Guide Service (843-241-7706) managed, fishing at the Murrells Inlet jetties and then along the beach around mullet schools. They were looking for jumping fish attacking the mullet and then casting live bait to them. Thank you for sharing, Captain Caleb!
