First, our apologies for the interruption in "catches of the day". As you may have seen in the first round of this week's fishing reports, one of our children is getting through a significant health challenge which has occupied a great deal of our time and kept us out of work recently. We do enjoy the catch of the day and hope to be able to post them more regularly going forward.
With that said, we'd like to thank Jocassee Charters (864-280-9056) for sharing this picture of a beautiful rainbow trout caught in pristine Lake Jocassee with Guide Casey Jones. It was caught trolling a spoon - at 120 feet! While not the biggest trout to come out of Jocassee this year, anyone who has been following the reports knows that any trout is a good one this time of year on that lake. And a four-pounder is always worth celebrating!
