This week the regular author had a conflict that he knew was going to keep him from being able to spend much time on the fishing reports, and so we enlisted the help of esteemed South Carolina outdoor writer Terry Madewell with particularly the freshwater reports. Terry got called in late and so there may be a species or two you are used to seeing reported on in a specific lake that slipped through the cracks (Jay’s fault, not Terry’s), but we think he did a pretty incredible job bringing a fresh perspective, some new names, and reports on some fisheries we have previously overlooked. We certainly hope Terry has time to keep helping us in the future, but whether he does or not we don’t plan to move backwards. 

Our family will be traveling this coming week for our children’s spring break, but starting the week of April 13 in our next round of reports we will do our best to follow the example he set going forward. Thanks Terry!
