The first CATT Wateree Open took place this Saturday out of Clearwater Cove, and after some slow months the top team showed the Wateree can still produce 20 plus pound sacks.  Results as follow:

1) Dean Benfield & Donnie Maiers, 21.49 pounds

2) Chad Gainey & William Gainey, 18.17

3) Butch Williams & Sonny Beam, 17.79

The tournament big fish weighing 6.28 was caught by Benfield and Maiers.
