Cherry Grove Pier (843-249-1625) reports that water temperatures are around 82 degrees but it has gotten muddy. The catch has been sporadic at best but there have been some whiting, croaker, flounder, spadefish, small bluefish, and lookdowns caught. A few sheepshead and black drum have also been around. Two weeks ago a 16-and 32-pound king mackerel were caught, but as the water has gotten muddy the king and Spanish mackerel bite has died.
