Lake Keowee is at 98.4% of full pool and water clarity is normal. Morning surface water temperatures are in the mid to high-60s over most of the lake.  

It’s still a really good time to fish for bass on Lake Keowee, and N&C Marine/Skeeter Team member Guide Charles Townson (864-324-2065) reports

Inshore surface water temperatures are about 60 degrees around Charleston and the water is clearing.  

The trout fishing is nothing short of outstanding right now around Charleston, and Captain Rob Bennett (843-367-3777) reports

Lake Jocassee is at 93.8% of full pool and the lake is even clearer than usual. Morning surface water temperatures are around 67-68 degrees. 

The trout bite on Lake Jocassee has slowed a little bit more, and Guide Sam Jones (864-280-9056) reports

Clarks Hill water levels are down to 329.48 (full pool is 330.00) and the water is clear. Morning surface water temperatures are about 65 degrees.

Lake Russell water levels are at 474.66 (full pool is 475.00) and the water is clearing as the turnover winds down. Morning surface water temperatures are about 64 degrees.

Santee Cooper water levels are at 74.54 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and about 74.26 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5).  The lakes are extremely clear for Santee and morning surface water temperatures have dropped to about 59 degrees. 

It’s been a bit of a mystery why the bluegill and crappie have been holding so deep so consistently for so long on the Santee Cooper lakes, but Captain Steve English (843-729-4044) reports

Lake Greenwood water levels are down to 438.40 (full pool is 440.0) and morning surface water temperatures are in the lower 60s. 

Finally the fishing is picking up on Lake Greenwood, and Guide Daniel Skipper (864-430-0488) reports

Inshore surface water temperatures around Edisto Island are about 68 degrees in the morning and the water is clear for the area. Bait is still prolific but shrimp are moving back in the direction of the ocean.
