Lake Hartwell water levels are at 659.61 (full pool is 660.00) and the lake is still mostly clear with some stain in the backs, despite almost an inch of rain Monday. Morning surface water temperatures are around 52 degrees on the bigger water and a little warmer in the backs.

Clarks Hill water levels are up to 330.25 (full pool is 330.00) and the lower lake is clear but as you go up the lake it gets progressively dirtier and there is debris including logs, branches, and dock parts floating. Morning surface water temperatures are about 52 in the clearer lower lake but 56 degrees further up in the creeks and rivers.

Lake Murray water levels are up to 358.46 (full pool is 360.00) and the lake is not muddy – yet – after Monday’s rain. Morning surface water temperatures are in the mid-50s, typically a bit warmer up the rivers unless a lot of cold freshwater is coming in.

Morning surface water temperatures are about 58 degrees at the mouth of Port Royal Sound and the water is still pretty clear, especially considering the big full moon tides.

Morning surface water temperatures continue to climb on Lake Monticello, with upper 50s to lower 60s now common. Water levels typically fluctuate frequently.

Lake Wateree is at 97.9% of full pool and the lake is fairly muddy.  Morning surface water temperatures were 54 degrees this morning.

Morning surface water temperatures are hovering around 55-56 degrees at the mouth of Winyah Bay.  There are a few early reports of small schools of menhaden showing up early, but even when around they are mostly holding deeper and difficult to net.

Lake Jocassee is at 98.1% of full pool and water conditions are normal with some minor stain in the very backs of creeks. Morning surface water temperatures on the main lake are around 52-53 degrees.

Lake Russell water levels are bouncing around 474.80 (full pool is 475.00) and the main lake is relatively clear although the back parts of some creeks are stained to muddy. Morning surface water temperatures have fallen to about 53 degrees in the creeks and on the main lake with the last two days’ wind and rain.

Lake Greenwood water levels are at 436.60 (full pool is 440.0) and almost the whole lake is dirty but fishable. Morning surface water temperatures are about 53-54 degrees.

Santee Cooper water levels are up to 75.59 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and 75.31 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). Morning surface water temperatures are around 55 in the shallows and 53 in the canal.  The upper lake is a little muddy in places while there is about 4 feet of visibility in the lower lake.

Clarks Hill water levels are slightly down to 329.76 (full pool is 330.00) and the main lake is clear while there is dirty water up the creeks and rivers. Morning surface water temperatures are about 51 degrees on the main channel and 55 in the creeks and rivers.

Lake Wylie is at 97.2% of full pool and the lower third of the lake remains dingy, while the rest is clear as of today – but with an inch of rain this morning that will change. Morning surface water temperatures range from about 50-52 degrees in the morning.

Lake Murray water levels are up to 358.12 (full pool is 360.00) and water clarity is high (before today’s rain). Morning surface water temperatures range from about 53-56 degrees.

Lake Wateree is at 97.2% of full pool and before the rain today the lake had cleared somewhat.  It’s now just stained on the lower end but still muddy way up.  Morning surface water temperatures are 51 degrees.

Lake Keowee is at 98.0% of full pool and water clarity is normal.  Morning surface water temperatures in the low 60s can be found mid-lake with temperatures in the mid- to upper 50s now found throughout the rest of the lake.
