Morning surface water temperatures around Hilton Head are about 81 degrees and the water is unusually clear. Tons of bait including finger mullet and menhaden can be caught, and there seem to be more big white shrimp off the beaches than usual this year.

Morning surface water temperatures are around 77 degrees around Georgetown and getting into the 80s during the day. Clarity is above average, especially considering the negative low high tides. Bait shrimp, finger mullet and menhaden are all around for netting.

Morning surface water temperatures range from about 78-82 degrees around Little River and the water looks pretty clear. The mullet are mostly too small for bait but there are lots of menhaden around.

Lake Keowee is at 98.4% of full pool and water clarity remains very high on the main body of the lake. Water temperatures continue to slowly rise with upper 70s to low 80s found throughout the lake.

Lake Wylie is at 97.8% of full pool and the northern end of the lake remains surprisingly dirty. Morning surface water temperatures are in the upper 70s.
