Inshore surface water temperatures around Little River are in the lower 70s. With lots of wind recently the water is not very clear. 

Water temperatures have not moved very much and so the inshore fishing patterns remain similar on the north end of the South Carolina Grand Strand. Overall the action is strong, and Captain Patrick “Smiley” Kelly (843-361-7445) reports

Lake Greenwood water levels are at 439.29 (full pool is 440.0) and the lake is still fairly clear for now – but that seems to be changing.  The upper end will probably get muddy with recent rains and the back of creeks are already a little dirty. Water temperatures are about 70 degrees. 

There’s not too much change in the bass patterns on Lake Greenwood, and tournament angler Stan Gunter of Saluda reports

Lake Wylie is at 97.0% of full pool and the lake is pretty clear. Morning surface water temperatures are in the mid to low-70s. 

Instead of talking about struggling bites first, it’s a good time to lead off with the catfish.

Lake Keowee is at 98.6% of full pool. Water temperatures continue to rise quickly on the lake with low 70s present in most sections.  The coolest water is near the Jocassee dam where the temperature is in the low 60s.  Clarity is normal.

Inshore surface water temperatures around Edisto Island are about 68-69 degrees while the creeks can hit the mid-70s on sunny afternoons. Water clarity is good in both rivers.

Santee Cooper water levels are at 75.42 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and bouncing around 75.18 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). Both lakes are relatively clear and water temperatures are around 69 degrees.   

The Santee Cooper bass are in a little bit of a post-spawn lull right now, and Captain Brett Mitchell (803-379-7029) reports

Lake Hartwell water levels are still well over full pool at 661.11 (full pool is 660.00). Water temperatures are in the mid to upper 60s at daylight and the lake remains very clear.
